Prestigious? I dunno, Id say rank6 champ+

Now coolest is a different thing, I think the wisdom title is the best, even oracle of wisdom is cooler than most maxed titles. If I had maxed wisdom title, I would wear it instead of my God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals title.

As for the title that makes me most jealous, r15. Its not prestigious at all, because the account that gets it first is shared by numerous amounts of people, and will only be achieved by sheer amount of gameplay, not ability.

God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals is always impressive, after that its the Glad 5+ and the Rank 12 + as they require some dedication. Although saying that the hero title gets easier as you go along as you get to play with better people in general and your chances improve.

LDoA gets bashed way too much by people who probably haven't even tried it. It's not all AFK. Also, the pre community seems to have the best natured people.

For those who think it's easy, think again. Try it and see.

pvp titles will always be more "prestigious" [even though i think all titles have no prestige] than pve titles.

the simple reason... pvp titles require some type of coordination and competence, where as pve titles can all be h/h'd by brute force and ignorance.

I don't think any titles are particularly prestigious even though I'm up to 22 so far - I normally leave unlucky as the displayed one as it reflects my drops unless I need one of the useful ones like LB to help with an area - but if I had to pick one or two it's be Legendary Guardian and Master of the North as it proves someone has at least completed all the campaigns in HM.

...and bought. I have 32 titles and still find that r12+ hero impresses me. It's the dedication to that one title when many PvE titles would have been gained in that time.

lolwut? You know you not even on the computer for all those hours...If anything I'd say LDoA is one of those title that show you have more of a life then others. You must be forgetting what the "A" in afk means.

I've never tried it because it's a boring as hell title that's absolutely meaningless, like, surprise! every other title in the game. There's someone in my alliance currently working on it and aside from pulling monsters to a rez shrine, she doesn't seem to do much in order to advance on the track. I'm sorry, I'm just not seeing the prestige here -- it's a load of pulling pre-Searing level monsters (ooo scary) to a shrine and then going AFK. *yawn*

Just to give some perspective. Maxing drunkard is a somewhat annoying task. Maxing Treasure Hunter or Kurzick Allegiance is about twice as annoying as that. Maxing Wisdom, Lucky or Luxon Allegiance is about 1.5 times as annoying as Treasure or Kurzick (and thus three times as annoying as Ale-hound). Maxing Unlucky is about twice as annoying as those three (and thus six times as annoying as Ale-hound).

Haven't bothered to check LDoA to see where it lies on this annoyance scale.

I vanquished most of Tyria, Cantha and Elona while being drunk as a skunk (VQing is too boring if sober). Run out of booze (and got it maxed) about the same time as out of places to vanquish, so it really has minimal effect on gameplay other than the annoyance of remembering to quaff another one every three minutes (programmed a beeper application to remind me ).

Unlike Drunkard, maxing Treasure, Wisdom, Lucky, Unlucky, Kurzick or Luxon is not feasible while playing the game as usual. In order to max any of them let alone several before GW2 comes out you'll have to abstain from all other game activities for extended period of time, doing something horribly repetitive that even seasoned grinders won't find fun. Also, considering necessary resources the million or so burned on booze to max Drunkard is chump change in comparison to maxing Treasure, Wisdom, Lucky or Unlucky. While the allegiance tracks actually turn in some profit, they are not much better an option. As overheard in game: "Six hours of faction farming a day keeps sanity away!"

sux4u then, I'm fairly certain the majority of people are able to afk most of the title. Everyone wakes up or gets home to an err 7 every once and a while.

First off, whoever got r12 Zaishen, it would take a calculated 5 billion gold to max that, so whoever got that hacked and then macroed opening the chest for a week.

Second I think almost any maxed title impresses me. I am not saying I am like "Wow that person is so leet he has max LB", but I think whoever has the dedication to max anything should get a pat on the back.

I am probably so sympathetic because I have not maxed a title yet.

Anyways I am at 97 % for Tyrian Cart
